Donate Hair to Save the Ocean From Maxican Oil Leak!

On 20th April on the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Maxico there was a deadly explosion in the oil rig run by BP. The oil rig  has completely sank in the sea and 2 lakh gallons crude oil is spilling everyday and spreading on the surface.These 5000 barrel crude oil is spilling over 65000 km square coastal area everyday.Now this has become worst disaster in the history of US in the area of oil exploration. It is a grave concern and posing dangerous threat to ocean life. Disaster management team is doing its work to stop the oil spilling and to minimize the effect to the environment.The oil slick has become the worst environmental disaster in US history threatening hundreds of species of fish, birds and other wildlife along the Gulf Coast.

 

Many Environment loving group have started to boycott the product from BP for its negligence and giving boycott call on Facebook.

Disaster management is trying all the way to fix the problem.They are trying of  putting a dome over the source of the leak,which are untested at the 5,000 feet deep water. Attempts to fix the problem  with robots also have been unsuccessful.

But environment lover has invented a unique solution to fight this disaster.A soloner Phillip McCrory of Albama has suggested a unique solution of this problem and now it has become most accepted and effective also.Phillip MacCrory has got this technology patented also but he  has given authority to NGO "matter of trust" to use it to clean the Maxican gulf coast.Hair is used to make boom and mats of specific design to soak the oil.

NGO are asking people to cut their hair and donate them fight this catastrophe.While saloners are collecting hair of human being then farmers are contributing by collecting animal hair around the world from US,Canada,Brazil,Australia,Spain,France etc.Oil will be soaked out with the help of this hair.Online news and data are showing that everyday around 2 tonne of hair is brought to the effected area to absorb the oil.These hairs are being kept in a number of  large godowns nearby.Where NGO are  filling and packing them in shoe lace shaped nylon bag.They are working on booms and floating mats to soak the oil.These bags and mats will be laid down on the sea shore to soak oils coming to its shore.

Collection of hair is led by NGO “Matter Of Trust” which a charity organization is saying that lock of hair are most effective to absorb all kind of oil including petroleum oil.Every hair has its surface where oil get sticked.This method of soaking oil has been accepted and supported by world biggest oil boom manufacturer “Applied Fabric Technologies” also.This hair collection activity is well contributed by  millions of hair saloners around the world.People are using social network site like facebook ,Twitter to involve people in this.

 
It is said that a place Triputi in South India gets Hundreds of Kg hair everyday in hair removing religious ritual.Hair is being sold out at heavy price to the wig manufacturer.People come forward voluntarily to protect the environment by contributing in this effort even a little.
