Facebook one of the most popular social network site accessed by millions of user daily. Users will be uploading their pictures in the form of album to their profile with allowing access to their friends. But there is no download option in Facebook. If you want to download the photo album of your friend from Facebook then you will have to save each photo with the right click of your mouse. So it is very cumbersome to download a bunch of pictures of your friend one by one as you have to go through “Save As” option for every photo.

FacePAD, known as the 'Facebook Photo Album Downloader' allows you to download your friend’s entire Facebook albums with a click of a button. FacePAD is also compatible with all languages which are compatible with Facebook. But you need to have Firefox your browser.
Just navigate to your friend’s photo album, right click the album link and choose download with FacePAD option. A window will pop-up to ask you the directory option, where to store the album. This is so simple to store at right place.

Another good option for backup would be an external hard drive. I back up my photos onto one on a regular basis. I also have some images burned to disk, but the quality of the disks may deteriorate with age, so don't count on that totally.
ReplyDeleteI recently had to do a repair to my operating system (Windows XP Media Center Ed.) and now I can't see how many files I have in the Temporary Internet folder . It used to display the number amount on the bottom left hand side. It would have for example 14,000 objects (or files). I would like to see the number amount again, how do I do that?
ReplyDeleteYou can also use online file storage if you want. Box.net is a good way to store files. I also use dropbox, but I have the bigger account. Downloading them to your PC, and then move them over to box.net for online safe keeping perhaps?
